Karen Lindsay, PhD
Dr. Karen Lindsay is a nutritionist and postdoctoral research fellow at the Development, Health and Disease Research Program, School of Medicine, at the University of California, Irvine. She completed her PhD at University College Dublin, Ireland, in 2014 in the field of prenatal and early life nutrition and metabolic health. Her current research focus is on the interaction of prenatal psychosocial stress, nutrition and metabolism and the implications for infant health and future obesity risk. She is a member of the American Society for Nutrition, the author or co-author of 15 published papers and regularly presents her research at national and international conferences.
