Zoe Thompson, BS
Zoe Thompson is a 6th-year Neuroscience PhD Candidate at the University of California, Riverside. She studies the neurobiological basis of voluntary exercise in selectively-bred high-runner mice in the laboratory of Dr. Theodore Garland, Jr. Her primary work focuses on histology of the midbrain, sugar as a competing reward for exercise, and one of the first examinations of plasma endocannabinoid levels in rodents after voluntary exercise.
